What Are You Going To Try?

27 April 2014

What Are You Going To Try?As many of you know last year I decided to become a runner. I ran the Denver Rock n Roll and vowed to never run again. And, the truth is, I only ran that race because I was a show off on my blog about the entire situation and by the time I realized it was a REALLY bad idea there was NO way I was backing out. One and done. Moving on ... read more »

Party Schmarty

30 November 2012

Party SchmartyI am that girl who HATES jewelry parties. In-fact I don’t even really wear jewelry. Hate it all on me. So Last night. I had a jewelry party. (That’s a long story) I also hate going to parties. I know, I seem so out going and appear to be a social blast :) but when it gets dark at 5:30 I come home, jammy up, and the world doesn’t hear from me again until the morning. My husband handles all night practices and activities. ... read more »

Aimee, We Are Legit ~

30 August 2012

Tonight I had dinner with friends. While chatting we were discussing my up-coming race, and my friend seemed suspicious that Aimee and I have not officially signed up for our race. 26 August 2012

Aha! There is a Runners’ High! We Met Today……Good morning everyone! Today I woke early, very early, just as the sky started to lighten; and feeling tired, I lay for a while hoping sleep would reclaim me. No such luck. So I got up and went for a run at Danielle’s Park. It was a cool morning reminding me that fall is right around the corner. My absolute favorite time of the year. This morning I seemed to have had a break through in my training. ... read more »

It’s Over, I Have Officially ‘De-Friended’ You … On Facebook

12 August 2012

Wow, what a week it has been on social media. There were days I logged on and actually had anxiety after watching all of the heavy status updates and logged immediately out. Ok, we all know that’s not true….I poured a diet coke and watched all the craziness. But, it actually saddened me to watch grown adults act more childish than anything I have ever seen volunteering in Blake’s classroom. The first thing that happened was my friend and a Doctor I work very closely with made a few comments on some before and after pictures (that were extremely mis-leading from multi-level sales rep for a skin care line). He nicely suggested using photos that were more legit. These pictures were horrible. ... read more »

The Trouble With Running

08 August 2012

The Trouble With RunningThe most consistent thing about me in life for sure is my inconsistency. I know, not really a brag worthy trait, but this week I have really discovered how true it is. It’s time to work on it; at least for a day or two, until that goal loses my attention ... read more »
